Overview

Hi there!

We have put together this resource for all of our nearest and dearest who are not around to see Baby Kemp on his journey to the outside world.

After being together for around four years we were married on January 06 in a beautiful ceremony at Woodlands Estate. We held out for almost a year before trying for a baby. With instant results we fell pregnant in November 06.

We announced baby’s impending arrival to our parents on Christmas day. The news was broken with baby themed gifts and greeted with surprised expressions all round.

Then onto organising midwives and birthing centres, so much to plan! We have selected Anne McMichael from Maternal Instincts as our midwife who has been great at keeping us on track. After quick tours to both Hamilton birthing centres we have decided upon Waterford Birth Centre.

We are looking forward to meeting Baby Kemp in mid August. In the meantime we hope you enjoy the photos of our progress.

Update: He's here! Born Sunday 19 August, 2007 and weighing in at 8lbs 13oz (4kg). Labour took a whopping 56 hours, but it was all worth it for this cute little man! Sooo many photos...

20 Week Scan DVD

On Wendesday xxth of March, 2007 we went for our 20 week scan at Hamilton Radiology, Beale Street. After a fairly nerve wracking experience, we found out baby was fully formed, healthy, and the due date is looking good. We also discovered we're having a boy!

We were able to get a copy of the entire scan on DVD, and have since converted it so you can watch it on PC. Please feel free to download and view the whole thing; extra points if you can spot where we found out the sex!

We recommend using Windows Media Player or similar for best results. You may need to download the latest version if you haven't already.

We're first time parents, so we would also love to hear about any tips or suggestions you may have.

One of the best resources we've found is the Littlie's website. There's a huge amount of useful articles, and a free monthly publication available from Pumpkin Patch.
